Me and My Style
I guess if you took farmhouse style, shabby chic, french country, primitive, prairie style, and boho and threw it all in a room, shook it up and took a picture .... then you found my style. I love it all! One of my favorite quotes ever is ....

"One should never be the oldest thing in one's house." - Patsy Stone |
I pride myself on having very competitive prices. I pass on over 50% of the pieces I really like, simply because I know I wouldn't be able to present the item to my customers at a price they could easily afford. I want people to look at a price tag and be surprised because the item is less than what they thought it would be. There is nothing worse than going into an antique store and seeing something I LOVE and then having to walk away because there is no way I can afford it.
I heard someone say, "If your job is to do the things you loved as a child, then you will have happiness with your career." What did I love to do as a child???? I loved to pretend to teach my stuffed animals and redecorate the house. There is no telling how many times my mom came home from work and I had rearranged the living room or my room. I also loved parties and planning parties. By hosting my Carolina Moon Vintage sales I get to stage and decorate for a huge party and then my guests come and buy all the decorations, leaving me with a profit and enough money to run around like a chicken with my head cut off hunting, gathering, cleaning, painting, repurposing, creating and building new pieces for the next sale.
If you haven't come and been a part of a Carolina Moon sale, I hope you will. It's a lot of fun!
Sincerely,
Regina
